Disco Inferno. 16 -19 Nov '07. The Reports

Well guys and gals that was a blockbuster of a weekend, I will post a full review with pics etc as soon as poss. Forgot to take my digital camera so had to buy one of those cheap disposable ones. Got the pics developed on site and althoug not digi quality still show what a great time was had.

Will scan em and get them posted ASAP. Met Kev and Kath and they had Digi camera so no doubt they will have loads of pics to post as well. The fancy dress was well....wait and see.

Hello Everyone! We've just got back so I don't have much time to post tonight but just wanted to say we've had a fantastic weekend! It was so much fun and once again the atmopshere was amazing! Met old friends and discovered (groan! LOL!) new ones and genrally just had one big party all weeekend long!

Sharky - you are great! Hope to see you again at the next one! Loved your fancy dress on the Saturday! Groovy!

What a great weekend!!

Me & Kath were recognised by a staff member, Simon, almost as soon as we arrived as it seems we've now achieved celebrity status! Was great to meet you Simon and thanks for getting our holiday off to a great start!

Okay - here come more pics!

On Friday afternoon, Kev and I took photos of the old reception buidling and the pool.


As I said before, Kev is going to put those on the site soon so I won't repeat them all here. I did hop the fence and got some close up shots of the actual pool. It all felt quiet spooky as it was all deserted!



Then we checked in and I loved my bedroom!


So cosy & warm! Outside, (for most of our holiday) was some raging rain storm, complete with biting wind and sleet!)

On the Friday night we saw Scissor Sisterz Tribute band (who were absolutely brilliant!) The room went crazy when I Don't Feel Like Dancing started up! Absolutely brilliant! I loved it and it kicked off the Disco weekend perfectly for me.

Once again I must praise the bar staff in all venues as they were so friendly, fast and efficient getting the drinks served at such a busy and hectic time! I can't praise them enough for how hard they worked and how they really helped make the weekend enjoyable. Nobody likes queuing at the bar for drinks - the bar staff made it seem so very easy.

The Abba tribute band (Abba Rival) in Reds on the Saturday night was amazing! They had the whole room up and dancing and we had such a fantastic night! There were some fabulous fancy dress outfits on display! It was electric! The whole place was just one big party, it was great!
