Scarborough 2010 Reunion

I've just had an email from Chrissie Grimston advertising the 2010 Scarborough reunion -23rd to 26th April. Anybody going?

As Chrissie Grimston was very late advertising (l havent seen any yet) the Reunion for 2010, quite a few from the last Reunion have already booked at the Norbeck Castle Blackpool for May

Going to Norbeck is the following BM members
Valsham (albert Chambers and Val)
Tina and Dave Simpson(according to my Redcoat friend who lives in Somerset and is a friend of Tina)
l believe Dave is a friend of yours Leslie give him buzz and see if he confirms

All 4 were at Scarborough last year

Hi Grizz here .Redcoat Butlins .The Grand Scarborough .Had 3 fantastic years there.It might be to late this year but if thers a reunion for Scarborough next year maybe The Red from this time could get together.We had a reunion about 7 years ago which went well and it would be nice to join other Reds.

Hi Andy,

I've checked with Tina and she confirms that David and she will be there. I forgot to ask her the dates! So when in May are you going and who else on this forum is expecting to be there?

The Norbeck Hotel Reunion is May14-17th
l'm doubtful myself as l cant face that Motorway again at my age and no coaches from Lincoln,but we'll see.
Those l know who are going are the Martin Brothers and their better halves ,plus,Val and Sham ,Kelly Kelleher,Colin Longmead,Tina and Dave and l know quite a few more from Facebook
As you know Leslie we had some good nights singing away with the Talented Martin Bros and Sham on Guitars
l believe Chrissie Grimston is going too

I would have loved to have been at the Norbreck but unfortunately it clashes with Janet's Spring show in Cwmbran.

Hello Mike,

As far I understand it, this isn't an organised reunion - there are no specific activities and no private rooms hired for formal get-togethers etc.. Several ex-reds and partners are just independently visiting the Norbreck at the same time!

There is no reason why a different selection of ex-reds can't do the same on a different date! So when do you want to come? I live in Blackpool and can attend almost anytime!

And why does it have to be at the weekend? I have a friend who used to visit me and stayed at the Norbreck on a special mid-week deal - something like £120.00 for four days B.B. & evening meal (Monday to Thursday).

Give them a call on 01253 352341 and find out what's on offer!

I look forward to seeing you in June/July/August.....?
